Professor Zachary Whinnett is a Consultant Cardiologist practicing at Imperial College NHS Trust, working principally at Hammersmith and St Mary’s Hospitals. His specialist areas of expertise are pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and cardiac electrophysiology (treatment of heart rhythm disorders). He is internationally recognised as a leader in the field of implantable cardiac devices and is frequently invited to present at international scientific meetings.
